Policies/Procedures

At Special Effects, our goal is to ensure that you completely enjoy your time with us.

The following tips will help you to make the most of your experience:

• For your first visit, arrive 15 minutes prior. This will allow time for you to fill out our new client questionnaire, and enjoy some Aveda Comforting Tea as you settle in.
• We understand that sometimes you need to change your schedule. We kindly ask that you give us 24 hours notice if you must cancel an appointment. If no notice is given, a 25% cancellation fee may be charged to your credit card.
• We recommend that you schedule your next appointment prior to leaving the salon/spa to ensure you have the appointment time that you most desire.
• Upon scheduling a bridal, special occasion or day package with us we require a credit card to reserve your time.
• Our highly skilled professionals are well trained in client safety and comfort and take the utmost care in providing you with the best salon/spa experience.
• Prices subject to change.
• Visa and Master-Card accepted.
• Special Effects Gift Certificates are available for all services.
